Everything you can expect from Cheltenham's biggest race of the year
The day many people have been waiting for is finally here - Gold Cup Day!
The Gold Cup race has been running for over 100 years and has crowned some of the greatest champions in jump race history.
The stakes will be at their highest for this feature race that brings in audiences from across the world.
INOTHEWAYURTHINKIN was the big winner last year and is set to take to the course again, could victory be claimed for a 2nd year?
Tickets sold out well in advance and it promises to be a jam packed day.
If you want some entertainment away from the horses the site is full of activities and live music with bands on throughout the day in the Guinness Village.
Racegoers are advised to know their travel plans ahead of schedule with Cheltenham's roads tending to get a lot busier by the end of the race day.
Those going out in the night time economy afterwards are being urged to keep their safety in mind as the town experiences one of its busiest nights of the year, emergency services and charities such as Cheltenham Guardians will be patrolling the streets to keep people safe and support anyone in need.
You can catch the feature race at 4pm.
