Arson investigation in Cheltenham after trade park fire
CCTV image released as police seek suspect
Police are investigating a suspected arson attack on two commercial units in Cheltenham.
The incident took place at Kingsditch Trade Park on Upperfield Road at about 9.20pm on 15th September.
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service responded to reports of a fire, believed to have been deliberately started in a large bin placed against the units.
While both buildings sustained fire damage, no injuries were reported.
CCTV footage reveals a man acting suspiciously on the day of the incident, between 6.15pm and 6.30pm, near the premises.
The same man was seen leaving the scene around the time the fire started and is thought to have entered other properties in the area earlier that day.
He is described as being white and balding, with brown hair, wearing a bright blue coat, black tracksuit bottoms, and carrying a large rucksack and carrier bags.
Police are asking the public and those who work on the trading estate for information regarding the man in the CCTV image.
