Police seek public assistance with anti-social behaviour investigation
Police are asking for help from the public after receiving reports of racial abuse and anti-social behaviour in the Priors Park area of Tewkesbury.
Local authorities have received reports of teenagers causing disruptions, engaging in stone throwing, and committing acts of criminal damage.
Recently, five teenage boys were reportedly seen throwing stones at a window on York Road.
When the homeowner confronted them, they allegedly responded with racial abuse and continued to throw stones at him.
Additional damage was noted at the local allotments, with teenagers reportedly behaving disruptively towards the public.
Authorities believe that the boys involved are in their mid-teens and reside locally.
Officers are currently investigating to identify those involved and address these crimes.
The area has seen increased patrols from local police, who encourage residents with concerns to approach them.
The Tewkesbury Neighbourhood Policing Team is requesting any information that might assist with their investigation.
