The band that brought us the Number 1 track 'Ghost Town' back in 1981, The Specials, have announced their final album.

After appearing on the music scene in the late 70s, The Specials have released nine studio albums over the years, including seven UK Top 10 songs. The band have now revealed that 'Live From The Cathedral' will be released in July.

The band's latest album, will also be their last, following the sad passing of Terry Hall, who died at the age of 63 in 2022. The album captures their performances at the ruins of Coventry Cathedral back in 2019.

Speaking about their 2019 performances, band members Lynval Golding and Horace Panter said: "The four nights at the Cathedral were more than just concerts. They had the feel of a homecoming, a massive celebration.

"A celebration not just about a band but about the connection between the music and the city, a religious experience, given the venue. For us, they were some of the most memorable and emotional shows we have ever played, and these recordings serve as a fitting tribute to, and celebration of, our wonderful and brilliant friend Terry."
