Grimsby tip transformed into football haven for World Cup
England shirts, flags and a special viewing area have been set up for visiting football fans
Grimsby tip has been transformed into a football-themed haven as the FIFA World Cup is underway.
England shirts from years gone by are on display, along with flags and footballs.
They've even set up a viewing area with a sofa and TV for match days.
The team are well known for going all out for occasions throughout the year, including their 'love shack' for Valentine's Day.
Grimsby Community Recycling Centre based on Estuary Way, Pyewipe Industrial Estate, Grimsby, DN31 2UD, whilst Immingham Community Recycling Centre can be found at Queens Road, Immingham, DN40 1QN.
Councillor Bob Callison said the staff there do a brilliant job and always find ways to make the sites a fun place to visit.
He said “The award-winning staff at Grimsby and Immingham tips do a brilliant job and always raise a smile when there’s something to celebrate.
“Anyone who has visited Grimsby and Immingham tips will see the lengths they go to make the site a fun place to recycle things you don’t need.
“There are also plenty of bargains on offer with their bike and bric-a-brac sales, with all the proceeds going to good causes.”
