Water bottles given out in Devon due to burst water main
Bottled water has been delivered to residents affected by a burst water main, South West Water have commented.
South West Water have stated that the issue was between Avonwick and Diptford, in Devon.
After reaching out for a comment a spokesperson for South West Water said:
“We are aware of a burst water main between Avonwick and Diptford and our teams are working hard to make sure all customers remain in supply."
“This is a complex repair due to the size of the water main and requires us to bring in specialist equipment. We are working to complete the repair as quickly as possible.”
The company confirmed that emergency repairs have already begun on the burst main.
