There's a chance for families across Devon to try triathlon this weekend - at a special event based around the Torbay Velopark and Clennon Valley swimming pool.
Those taking part can choose to do as many or as few laps as they like and it's designed to be inclusive - and not competitive - with no minimum distances.
Amy Hall, the founder of Swim Bike Run and a director at British Triathlon, said: "It's three life skills.
"What family doesn't want their children or themselves to be able to be to be safe in the water, ride a bike and be able to run or walk.
"I might as well myth bust whilst we're at it, triathlon isn't just for the super fit and super-fast.
"Especially around the Summer holidays there's that question of how we keep children and families active when outside of that school environment.
“The latest figures from Sport England show that only 47 per cent of children and 63 per cent of adults are achieving the recommended levels of physical activity on a regular basis."
New mum and Olympic triathlete legend, Vicky Holland added: “Swim Bike Run events are such a brilliant way for locals and visitors to Torbay to experience triathlon in a fun, friendly and accessible way.
"With Swim Bike Run there’s no pressure, it’s just about moving, enjoying yourself, and doing it in a way that works for you. As a mum, I know how important it is to find activities that families can enjoy together, and Swim Bike Run is a fantastic way to make that happen, without big costs or barriers.”
