Teignmouth Library is set to reopen its doors at 9am on Friday 17th July, resuming its full opening hours after undergoing recent repair work following a major fire.

Although the library’s roof still needs further repairs, the building has been declared safe for public use.

Library events and activities will be temporarily paused as the library staff settles back into the building.

Future updates will be provided as soon as the events schedule is confirmed.

The Work: Space area will not be opening alongside the main library.

Additional information on its reopening will be communicated once available.

Reserved items will soon be available for collection at Teignmouth Library.

The library staff is currently working on transferring these items back to the site and preparing them for customer collection.

Library representatives expressed appreciation for the public’s patience and continued support during this period.
