International Women’s Day events continue in Plymouth today with Smeaton’s Tower being lit purple to show the city stands for 'rights. justice and action for all women and girls'.
Today the The Box in Pymouth is 'hosting creative, family friendly activities – including a comedy walking tour, costume performance and silent disco – all for International Women’s Day'.
On Monday the Plymouth and Devon Racial Equality Council is holding a free community event at Sherwell Church from 1030am-3pm to help people connect and celebrate
Yesterday a range of international speakers took part in an event at the Crowne Plaza to look at what could be done to end violence against women and girls locally.
