Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in crash involving two cars

A serious collision involving two cars and a motorcycle has led to road closures on the A38 near Lee Mill in Devon.
The incident occurred shortly before 10am today (6/8), according to Devon and Cornwall Police.
Authorities have closed the carriageway and slip roads as a result of the crash.
The motorcyclist involved has sustained serious injuries, and drivers are being advised to avoid the area.
National Highways confirmed the air ambulance is en route to the scene, with closures in both directions between B3416 Plympton and B3213 Ivybridge.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 09:53hrs on Thursday 6 August to an incident in Ivybridge.
"We sent one double-crewed land ambulance, an air ambulance, an operations officer, and a specialist paramedic to the scene.”
