Police appeal for witnesses after woman seriously injured in collision on the A38

A woman in her 20's was seriously injured in the crash.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was seriously injured in a collision on the A38 yesterday.

Officers were called shortly after 10.15pm on Monday 13th of July following the collision which occurred at the top of the slip road for Buckfastleigh and the Dartbridge overbridge.

The vehicle involved was a Jaecoo 7 and the passenger - a woman in her 20s from Plymouth - sustained serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.

The road was closed for some time whilst the officers' investigation took place.
