Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after an assault in Barnstaple.
We're told it happened against a teenager over the weekend.
In a statement, Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Barnstaple.
"Between 1.15pm and 1.25pm on Saturday 5 April in Church Lane (opposite the Pannier Market), a 13-year-old girl was knocked to the floor and assaulted by another girl known to her.
"The victim did not suffer any serious injury.
"Officers investigating the incident are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and who witnessed the incident.
