The burglary was reported to have taken place between 11am and 2pm on Tuesday 4th November in the Sherford Road and Portway Close area of Elburton.

Entry was reportedly forced into a home, and police say several valuable and sentimental items were taken, including service medals and football medals.

Officers are working to obtain some images of items but have released a partial list of items taken:

  • Gold Omega watch - with black strap in red box

  • Football medals
  • Long service medal-naval
  • Gold cufflinks with Initial RT

  • Numerous other jewellery items of sentimental value.

Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area and saw any suspicious activity, as well as anyone with relevant dash-cam, CCTV or doorbell footage, which may assist our investigation.

They would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen any of these items for sale or been approached regarding the sale of such items since Tuesday.
