Plymouth housing association lands £250m to build 1,500 affordable homes
The funding will help deliver new homes across Devon and Cornwall over the next 10 years
A Plymouth housing association is set to receive £250 million to help build 1,500 affordable homes across Devon and Cornwall over the next decade.
Plymouth Community Homes (PCH) has been chosen by Homes England as a Strategic Partner for the Government's Social and Affordable Homes Programme 2026-2036.
It is one of just 33 housing associations selected nationally to become a Strategic Partner through the programme.
Where the homes will be built
The funding is intended to help PCH deliver affordable homes in areas where housing need is greatest, and where development can be more financially challenging.
PCH said it would help unlock regeneration opportunities and support the creation of communities, including in areas such as Plymouth city centre.
