Woman suffers head injuries after Plymouth collision

A woman has suffered head injuries following a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Plymouth.

Officers were called at around 9.10am today (14 October) to reports of a collision on Coburg Street involving a car and a female pedestrian.

Ambulance crews also attended the scene.

The woman sustained a potentially serious head injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant dashcam footage is asked to contact Devon & Cornwall Police.
