Man in his 50s suffers injuries in unprovoked Plymouth assault
Police appeal for witnesses after attack in Soap Street area
A man in his 50s has suffered a broken wrist and a fractured pelvis following an alleged unprovoked assault in Plymouth.
The incident reportedly occurred on Monday, 20th July, at around 8.35pm on a grassed area off Soap Street.
The victim was approached by a group of five men aged in their early to mid-20s and was subsequently pushed to the floor, causing his injuries.
Police are currently investigating and have described two of the suspects. One suspect is a white male, around 25 years old, 5ft 8in tall, with short brown curly hair, longer on top. He was wearing black knee-length shorts, a grey t-shirt, and a black baseball cap worn backwards.
The second suspect is described as a slim white male, approximately 5ft 4in tall, in his early 20s, with hair similar to the first suspect, wearing shorts.
The force are urging any witnesses or anyone with information related to the incident to come forward.
