It was a star-studded event last night - with the annual EFL Awards.

Plymouth Argyle's Community Trust won the prestigious 'Community Project of the Season' award for their project called 'ACTing with Children'.

The award recognises the most unique and impactful Community Project of the Season, with the divisional winners also celebrated at the Houses of Parliament.

‘ACTing with Children’ is a project which provides tailored one-to-one and group support to children aged 0-18 with a parent in prison. A child with a parent in prison is 78% more likely to offend, and the project aims to intervene early in order to break the cycle.

Sharing their reaction on social media, those at the Trust said: "We're delighted to announce that we have won the Community Project of the Season at tonight's EFL Awards for our groundbreaking project supporting young people in Cornwall affected by parental imprisonment.

"It's a testament to the hard work of the team."
