Person airlifted hospital with serious injures after A30 crash near Exeter

A person has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a crash on the A30 near Exeter.

Emergency services were called to the scene near Tedburn St Mary at around 12:40pm this afternoon (20 August) following a multi-vehicle collision on the eastbound carriageway.

Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed three other people have been taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be serious at this time.

Police along with the ambulance and fire services are at the scene and the A30 remains closed in both directions.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is being asked to contact the police.
