Families can visit a number of farms - right across the West Country- as part of the annual 'Open Farm Sunday'.

It's a chance to showcase the industry and teach youngsters where their food comes from.

Farmer John Gibson, a spokesperson for the event, said: "Farming is a unique way of life.

"Come and join us, explore the nature, meet the animals and learn more about where your milk and other food comes from.

"This is a great opportunity for all the family to support British farming and local food.

"We’re looking forward to answering your questions about farming and showing you our milk, the animals and the work we do to look after the countryside."
