One reported seriously injured after crash on Devon Expressway
Police were called to the scene earlier this morning (20/7)
Officers have been responding to a serious crash in Devon this morning (20/07).
We are told it involved three vehicles, with reports of delays in the area and one mile of congestion on the approach to the A38 between Buckfastleigh and Dean.
In a statement, Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We were notified at around 9.35am this morning, Monday 20 July, to reports of a serious collision involving three vehicles on the A38 Devon Expressway Southbound at Buckfastleigh.
"As a result, the road has been closed while emergency services work at the scene.
"One man is believed to be seriously injured.
"Anyone with information into the incident is asked to contact us via 101 or online quoting log 197 20th July."
