Okehampton man set to appear in court over offensive weapons charges

Mohammed Ullah faces multiple counts linked to weapon sale and possession

A 56-year-old man from Okehampton is due to appear in court charged with offering to supply offensive weapons.

Mohammed Ullah, of Cranmere Road, is set to face Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on 18th March, where he will respond to a total of 12 charges.

The charges include six counts of offering for sale or hire an offensive weapon and six counts of possessing offensive weapons for the purpose of sale or hire.

As part of the investigation into Ullah's activities, officers conducted a search under section nine of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act at an address located on Exeter Road Industrial Estate, Okehampton.

This operation took place on 27th February.
