Motorcyclist, 30s, dies in Exeter crash - as police appeal for information

A fatal road traffic collision in Exeter has resulted in the death of a motorcyclist in his 30s.

The collision occurred at the junction of Pennsylvania Road and Stoke Valley Road involving a Morrisons Mercedes Sprinter van and a green Kawasaki ZR 900 motorcycle.

Emergency services were alerted to the incident at around 5.10pm yesterday (5 July).

The motorcycle rider, who was from the local area, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed and are receiving support.

The driver of the van was not injured in the collision and remained at the scene.

Appeal for information

Authorities are calling for witnesses and anyone with dash-cam footage to assist with the ongoing investigation.
