Plymouth Argyle women’s football team is preparing for a change in leadership as Marie Hourihan resigns from her role as head coach.

Hourihan, who joined the team last summer, has chosen to move on to explore other opportunities after leading Argyle to significant accomplishments during her tenure.

A former Women's Super League and FA Cup-winning goalkeeper, Hourihan steered Argyle to second place in the FAWNL Southern Premier Division and guided them to the final of the FAWNL Cup.

The club expressed gratitude for Hourihan’s contributions and her impact on both the team and the club, wishing her well in her future endeavours.

As Argyle looks towards the appointment of a new head coach, the team aims to build on the strong foundation Hourihan has established.
