Man suffers head injury in Plymouth assault
Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident outside Dylan's Kebabs
A man has been treated for a head wound after being attacked outside Dylan’s Kebabs in Plymouth.
It happened at around ten to ten on Sunday, November 16th, after the victim got into an argument with a driver on Union Street.
The driver got out, punched the man, and left him needing stitches in hospital - anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
In a statement, Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in Plymouth.
"The incident took place at around 9.50pm on Sunday 16 November outside Dylan’s Kebabs on Union Street.
"It was reported the victim became involved in a verbal disagreement with a passing motorist.
"The motorist then got out of the vehicle and punched the victim, causing him to fall to the floor.
"The victim was then taken to Derriford where he was treated for a head wound which required a number of stitches.
"The suspect left the scene.
"Officers investigating the incident are appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault, or who has relevant footage or information to get in touch via 101 or our website quoting 50250295237."
