Man in life-threatening condition after stabbing in Exeter

Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for information after reports of a stabbing in Exeter.
Officers were called by ambulance at 5.50pm on Thursday (12 June) after a man was found seriously injured in Exwick.
In a statement, they said: "The man was located near the River Exe off Station Road having sustained a number of puncture wounds. His injuries are described as life-threatening.
"He was treated at the scene and has been taken to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
"A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in custody.
"A scene guard remains in place while police carry out searches and enquiries.
"Officers are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact police online or by telephone on 101, quoting log number 714 of 12 June."
