A man in his 30s was hospitalised after being seriously hurt in the Cowick Street area
A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital with life-changing injuries following a serious assault in the Cowick Street area of Exeter.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 4.30pm yesterday (30th December) where the man was found with suspected knife wounds.
A 36-year-old man from Exeter has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is in police custody.
Detective Superintendent James Dowler of Devon Police said: “A heightened police presence will remain in Exeter and notably in the St Thomas area of the city as our investigation continues.
“If anyone has any information, we ask that they contact us.”
