Man in hospital after serious assault in Exeter
Police are appealing witnesses
Police are investigating after a man sustained stab wounds during a reported assault in Exeter.
Officers were called at around 9pm on Sunday 12 July following a report of man being assaulted at a property on Guinness Lane, Exeter.
It was reported that the man, in his 50s, had sustained stab wounds and fallen from a window at height.
Devon and Cornwall Police say enquires are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
The force added that the victim is in hospital being treated for serious injuries but they are not believed to be life-threatening.
