Man in his 70s seriously injured in Devon quad bike collision

A man in his 70s has been seriously injured following a collision involving a quad bike in South Devon.

The incident occurred on a rural road near Ilsington, Bovey Tracey, at approximately 11.50am on Tuesday 6th January 2026.

Police have confirmed the rider sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The road was closed to allow for police investigations and reopened at around 3.35pm.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
