Man in his 40s seriously injured in A376 collision near Exeter

A man in his 40s has been seriously injured after a collision on the A376 near Exeter on Sunday (21 June).
Police were called at around 2.25pm to a report of a collision on A376, between Clyst St Mary and Clyst St George, on the southbound carriageway.
It involved a black Honda motorcycle and a grey BMW estate car.
Police say the rider of the motorcycle - a local man in his 40s - sustained life changing injuries and was taken to hospital.
The man's next of kin have been informed and police say no other injuries were reported.
The road was closed while an examination of the scene took place but reopened at round 7:15pm on Sunday (21 June).
Investigating officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
