Devon's Moorlands Wildlife Centre has helped a little, lonely, baby owl find a friend.
Gizmo, the tawny owlet, was found in the Branscombe Woods last month, back on May the 28th.
After being brought to the centre, after a brief diversion to Sidmouth Vets, they put a call out to a local Barn Owl Trust - which is where they found fluffy little Gromit - who was found on the side of a road in Exmouth.
And luckily, despite getting a little used to human interaction, the centre say they've been keeping their involvement to a minimum - so they don't get too dependent on it.
Claire & Tony Bennett from Moorlands Wildlife Centre told us: "Gromit and Gizmo, fortunately, aren't too dependent on humans - and that's because of the way we are caring for them.
"Since we taught them to feed themselves, they get the absolute minimum amount of human contact."
We're told that their food is put into their enclosure through a hatch, with their wellbeing being monitored using cameras.
"The enclosure they are in now is ideal for them at the moment as they are still quite young," They added.
"They will soon need to go into a larger flight pen so that they can improve their fitness prior to release."
The team are now trying to raise enough money to create a purpose built flight pen at the Moorlands Wildlife Centre.
If they don't manage to achieve their mission, we're told that the pair will instead have to be transferred to one the larger rescue centres out of the area and will be released from there.
Claire and Tony said: "We have perfect wild habitat for their release here at our centre and moving them would be a shame as transporting wildlife is very stressful for the animals."
