Llama walking experience announces closure
The group say they have lived a dream.
A walking experience in Devon has announced that it's closing.
Dartmoor Llama Walks says it's due to an "unexpected and deeply challenging personal situation" beyond their control.
The owners say the business will be for sale and only first class homes will be considered for their animals.
They add if for any reason the business not transferred, the llamas will remain at home with them.
Posting on their Facebook page, the company said:
"It is with great sadness that we announce the closing of Dartmoor Llama Walks.
Due to an unexpected and deeply challenging personal situation beyond our control, we have no choice but to close the business.
We are completely heartbroken, especially as we're only a few years in to our dream adventure.
To all those lovely people who love our llamas just like we do, please be assured that they are our number one priority.
The business will be for sale and only first class homes will be considered for the Dartmoor Llama Team. If you, or anyone you know, is interested in an exciting, thriving and unique business adventure, please get in touch.
If for any reason the business is not transferred, the llamas will remain at home with us.
We are no longer able to accept new bookings, but we do intend to honour all valid gift vouchers. If you have a gift voucher, please email us and we will send over the available dates.
If there was anything we could do to keep going we would, but sadly the choice has been made for us.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has walked with us and supported us, you helped make our llama dreams come true and we're incredibly grateful.
Scarlett and Debbie"
