Ideas are now out to consultation to improve mental and physical wellbeing across Torbay - as well as reducing obesity and lower gaps in life expectancies.

Council leader David Thomas says it's aimed at both children and adults. It's also looking at what can be done to help people - off sick - get back to work.

David Thomas, Chair of the Torbay Health and Wellbeing Board and Leader of Torbay Council, said: Our vision is for healthy neighbourhoods where everyone can live, work and thrive.

“Please take the time if you can to read the draft Strategy and let us know what you think – we’d love to hear from you."

The consultation runs until Sunday 8 February 2025.
