Motorbike rider in potentially life-changing condition after Plymouth crash

Devon and Cornwall Police have launched an appeal after a serious crash in Plymouth over the weekend - in which a motorbike rider suffered potentially life-changing injuries.

It happened on Sunday (27 April) when emergency services were called at 6.35am to Hyde Park Road.

It was at the time reported that a crash had occurred involving a Suzuki motorcycle and a White Toyota Yaris.

Officers say the motorbike rider was taken to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries.

The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene.

Officers from the Roads Policing team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed.
