Hospital catering staff say 'food is the best medicine' as they prepare festive meals
Staff and patients will be fed on Christmas Day as the catering team aim to spread festive cheer

Catering staff at Torbay Hospital are preparing 1,000 meals for Christmas Day.
They'll be offering a festive treat to both patients and staff.
Supervisor Steven Dickinson said: "They say that laughter is the best medicine but I believe that food is the best medicine,
"You can't get better on an empty stomach and if we can provide a lovely meal for someone to eat that's absolutely amazing for me - espcially at Christmas time as no one wants to be in hospital at Christmas.
"Working at Christmas is always a busy time of year however I look forward to it so much.
"It's putting a smile on people's faces and if we can make that Christmas just that little bit better then that's enough for me in my books."
Catering staff are supplying a variety of meals - to both workers and patients - on the 25th including recipes they've created themselves,
