Fire crews have been battling the fire throughout the night, and into this morning
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire & Rescue service said:
Crews attended a large two storey derelict property which was well alight on the arrival of the first appliances. They requested a total of 6 fire engines and an aerial ladder platform, which were mobilised from surrounding stations, along with the water bowser and command support unit.
The fire was breaking through the roof, and crews got to work with one main jet, increasing to 3 main jets and the aerial ladder once back up had arrived.
Crews made steady progress through the night. Details will be updated.
