Fire service rushed out to wildfire near Combe Martin
They continue to urge locals to 'stay safe and avoid the area'
The fire service was rushed out to a blaze near Combe Martin overnight.
They continue to urge locals to 'stay safe and avoid the area' - with a lot of smoke created, we're told.
On their social media, bosses at the fire service said: "Crews are currently tackling a wildfire on Holdstone Down, near Combe Martin.
"This is creating lots of smoke and the potential for the fire to spread, so please stay safe and avoid the area."
It follows another blaze yesterday - which saw a town in Devon devastated, when a thatched roof caught fire.
