Fire crews tackle blaze at flat near Plymouth waterfront

Fire crews are tackling a blaze at a flat near the waterfront in Plymouth.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said they received multiple reports of a fire coming from a top floor flat in St Peter and the Waterfront at around 4:55pm this afternoon (May 28).

Fire engines from across Plymouth, including Plympton, Camels Head, Crownhill, Greenbank, Ivybridge and Yelverton, and a crew from Saltash are at the scene working to extinguish the blaze.
