East Devon coastal path closed after cliff falls
The path between Axmouth beach and Harbour Bay is currently shut.
A coastal path in East Devon has been closed for safety reason after two recent cliff falls.
East Devon District Council says it's closed off from Axmouth beach to the harbour.
Officials say as soon as it is safe to do so, the cliff will be inspected and cleared, and the path will reopen.
A spokesperson at EDDC said: "With bad weather forecast, more cliff falls could happen.
"Cliff falls are a natural and unpredictable occurrence along the East Devon coast, so please keep a safe distance if you're visiting local coastlines, and respect any warning signs or barriers."
