Drugs seized and man arrested in Shaldon operation

30-year-old questioned over suspected cocaine seizure

A quantity of suspected Class A drugs has been seized in Shaldon, South Devon, along with other items in an ongoing investigation.

Police executed a warrant at a property on Clifford Close, seizing what is believed to be cocaine valued at approximately £11,000.

Officers also confiscated cash and additional paraphernalia believed to be connected to drug offences.

A 30-year-old local man was arrested during the operation but has been released on bail while further investigations are conducted.

Detective Sergeant Jason Parsons, from South Devon CID, is leading the investigation. He said: “Preventing drugs from reaching the streets of South Devon is always a positive result and one of our main policing priorities.

“We would like to thank the local community for their support as we tackle this issue and appreciate the vital information and intelligence that the public pass to us.”

The operation took place on Monday, 11th May, involving members of the local Neighbourhood Policing Team.
