Devon man is one of three charged over Somerset hunt

Trio are accused of illegally hunting a mammal with dogs after an incident in November

Three men - including one from Devon - have been charged over a hunt in Somerset.

James Parish who's 31 and from Uffcume; along with Ross Cordery, 45, from Highbridge, and Wayne Greggory, 48, from Taunton are accused of hunting a wild mammal with dogs under the Hunting Act 2004.

It follows an investigation led by the Avon & Somerset Rural Crime Team into a planned hunt by The Vale of Taunton & Banwell Harriers Hunt at Chilton Trinity on November 26th 2025.

The three defendants are due to appear at Taunton Magistrates on Monday 20th April.
