Dartmoor Zoo closed due to storm
This comes as strong winds will continue across Cornwall throughout today - with the weather warning in place until 6pm
Dartmoor Zoo has confirmed it will close today, after a yellow weather warning for wind was issued for the region.
In a statement, the zoo said: “For everyone’s safety, the zoo will be closed tomorrow, Monday 15th of September, due to a yellow weather warning for wind.”
This comes as strong winds will continue across Cornwall throughout today - with the weather warning in place until 6pm.
Visitors who have pre-booked tickets will be contacted by the zoo’s team to reschedule their visit.
The statement added: “We appreciate your understanding and will keep you updated. Thank you, and stay safe!”
