Pupils from 12 Plymouth primary schools are today working with Dame Darcey Bussell on world mental health day.

The 360 pupils are taking part in a day of fun, high-energy dance fitness workshops' after the dancer's charity DDMIX Trust partnered with leading children’s mental health charity, Place2Be.

A spokesperson for Plymouth's Theatre Royal charity said: "Children will take part in one of two sessions throughout the day which aim to explore the importance of wellbeing.

"Participants will also be treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of TR2, including the workshop, wardrobe and rehearsal spaces, where they will also be invited to take part in exciting tasks and activities along the way to give an insight into the vast range of careers within the world of theatre."
