Crews are currently responding to a fire in a field, beneath the Tamar Bridge.

If you can smell smoke in your area, there’s no need to call the fire service.
If the smoke is particularly thick, people are advised to close windows and doors.
Please only call 999 if you can actually see a fire.
Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry Joint Committee has issued advice.
It said: "We are aware of a significant wildfire in the vicinity of the Tamar Bridge and are continually monitoring the visibility levels caused by the resulting smoke.
"Our teams are assessing conditions to ensure it remains safe for vehicles to continue crossing. If visibility levels change, we will provide further updates."
In the meantime, please:
Do not be distracted by the fire – keep your attention on the road and do not attempt to take photographs or videos while driving.
Take extra care when approaching the toll plaza. Our staff are walking around the area as we monitor the situation, so please slow down and follow any instructions from our team.
If you encounter smoke, reduce your speed and increase your following distance. Keep windows closed if smoke is affecting the road. Be prepared for reduced visibility and avoid sudden manoeuvres.
Please follow the instructions of emergency services and do not stop on the bridge or approach the area to watch the fire.
