Court appearance for ninth suspect in Plymouth 'acid attack'

Detectives investigating an acid attack in Plymouth have charged a ninth suspect.

A man was left with serious injuries after the alleged attack back in February.

34-year-old Paris Wilson from the Quay has been charged with conspiracy to murder - and being part of an organised crime group.

Police say he's due to appear before magistrates in Plymouth today (April 24).

Wilson's heading to Plymouth Magistrates’ Court charged with the following offences:

  • Conspiracy to murder
  • Conspiracy to kidnap
  • Participating in a criminal activity of an Organised Crime Group

Devon and Cornwall Police say an investigation is ongoing after officers were called to a property in Lipson Road, Plymouth, at around 3.55am on Friday 21 February following reports of a serious assault.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was injured and remains in a serious condition in hospital.

A number of other people have previously been charged in connection to the incident.
