Boy, 10, injured in Plymouth collision with modified e-bike
Police seek witnesses and footage to aid investigation
A 10-year-old boy was seriously injured after a collision involving a modified electric bike in Plymouth on Thursday, 17th September.
The incident occurred around 4.40pm on Wolseley Road, near the Saltash Road junction, and led to the child being taken to Derriford Hospital. Although his injuries were serious, they were determined not to be life-threatening.
The rider and a passenger on the modified electric bike were also taken to the hospital but they sustained minor injuries.
A 16-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury while dangerous driving, as well as drug driving. He has since been released under investigation.
The road was closed for investigation, and officers expressed gratitude to the public for their patience during this time.
