Appeal to identify van driver after cyclist's death in Broadwoodwidger

Police in Devon & Cornwall are seeking assistance from the public in identifying a van driver following the death of a cyclist in Broadwoodwidger.

Officers were called around 10.35am on Tuesday 11th August, responding to reports of a cyclist found off his bike on the road leading into Broadwoodwidger from the direction of the A30.

Despite resuscitation efforts, a local man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene, and his next of kin has been informed.

Investigators are keen to identify the driver of the van pictured, as it is believed that they may have witnessed the cyclist’s movements before he came off his bike.
