Appeal for witnesses following disorder in Barnstaple

Police were notified at around 5.25pm yesterday, Monday 10 February, to reports of disorder involving several men on Barnstaple High Street.

Officers attended the area and carried out a search for two suspects who had fled the scene in a vehicle. The vehicle then collided with another car. No injuries were caused to any of the occupants in the vehicles.

Two males, aged 17 and 18, were detained by officers shortly after and are now in police custody for several offences including fail to stop, dangerous driving, drug driving, affray and possession of drugs.
