Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for information after an assault in Plymouth.

They have released an image of a man they would like to speak to.

In a statement, officers said: "We are seeking the public’s help identifying this man in relation to an assault in Plymouth.

"It was reported that two boys were assaulted by a male suspect at the Ocean City ice cream shop on Hoe Road on Saturday 12 July.

"The suspect left the scene prior to police arrival. The boys didn’t suffer any injuries.

"It is believed the man pictured may be able to help officers with their enquiries.

"Anybody able to assist is asked to contact us on 101 or via our website quoting 50250179413."
