Police in Brixham say town centre has experienced a series of disturbances over the past three evenings as a group of youths engage in anti-social behaviour.

Their actions have involved attempts to damage public facilities, such as disabled toilets, through kicking doors.

There have also been cases of throwing toilet rolls across car parks and pavements.

In addition, the group has climbed onto the roofs of buildings, including churches and charity shops, where they have thrown roof tiles.

Concerns have escalated with reports of individuals climbing onto residential window ledges and peering into homes.

Police are actively gathering photographic evidence and reviewing CCTV footage in an effort to identify those involved.

The ongoing disruptions have raised concern among community members and authorities are taking steps to address the situation.

Police are collaborating closely with Brixham Community College and the Child Centred Policing Team.

Efforts include engaging with parents and guardians to encourage awareness of their children's whereabouts, friendships, and behaviour in public.

As this behaviour continues at Brixham town centre, authorities emphasised the need for it to cease to prevent further community disruption.
