800 swimmers take to the water for this weekend's Dart 10k

There'll be 800 swimmers taking part in this weekend's 10k Dart swim, with boat users urged to be careful.

Participants will swim from three ferries moored to pontoons anchored near Sharpham Boathouse.

A spokesperson for the Harbour Authority warned: "All mariners are to keep a good look out and navigate with extreme caution during the event times, keeping well clear of swimmers."

The event sold out in record time in 2026 and is due to return next year.
